We are looking for a Seasonal Food & Beverage Supervisor for the upcoming Summer season for our Silvertip Resort at Canmore, Alberta. Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional service and quality in all dining experiences. This role includes managing staff, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, and upholding high standards of hospitality. The Supervisor will train and mentor team members, monitor service quality, and address guest needs and concerns promptly.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the F&B Manager - the Food & Beverage Supervisor will help lead and direct the Front of House team. The right candidate is a natural leader, highly organized, detail-oriented, excels in a fast-paced environment, and has a warm and welcoming presence.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests.
- Supervise daily operations to ensure efficient service, adherence to standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Adhere to ProServe standards and all local alcohol service regulations, ensuring responsible service and guest safety.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance skills and ensure consistent service quality.
- Monitor inventory levels for food and beverage supplies, manage orders, and conduct stock assessments.
- Assist in executing special events, ensuring all details are managed effectively and meet guest expectations.
- Evaluate service quality and food presentation, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations through regular inspections and training.
- Work well as a team player and always maintain a respectful and professional attitude.
- Knowledgeable about the menu and wine list that is offered, make specific recommendations and answer questions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year experience in a similar leadership role.
- Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/bar.
- Proof of ProServe certificate.
- Food safe level 1 & WSET Level 1 Award in Wines is considered an asset.
- Highly personable with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills and sales oriented.
- Energetic, proactive, and positive attitude.
- Detail and goal oriented.
- Excellent with guests.
- Must be able to stand and for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Duration: This is a Full-Time seasonal position, April to October. Overtime during busy periods may be required.
